Dr. O. R. Ogunniyi

Dr Ogunniyi holds a Ph. D degree in Accounting from Babcock University, Ilishan –Remo, Ogun-State, Nigeria, specialising in Strategic Financial Management. She is a seasoned and accomplished accountant whose experience cuts across the Banking Industry, Private Sector, Professional Practice, and Tertiary Institutions. Presently, she is a Senior Lecturer at KolaDaisi University, Ibadan-Nigeria.

Dr Ogunniyi is a Fellow of the Association of Forensic Accounting Researchers of Nigeria (FFAR), Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCTI) and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA). She has just completed all requirements needed to be inducted as an associate of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (ACIS).

A focused and dynamic team player, thriving on the challenge of continuous self-improvement and enjoys inspiring confidence in others,  Dr Ogunniyi keeps high attention to details and ensures quality work and service to a variety of people especially students.

She started her teaching career over two decades ago at The Polytechnic Ibadan, Nigeria, where she rose to the position of a Chief Lecturer. She has acquired university teaching experience as an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Federal and Private Universities before joining the services of KolaDaisi University.

Her areas of research focus discourse on Capital and Money Markets Operations, Accounting Theory, Corporate Reporting, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) associated with Gender Equality, Budget and Financial Planning.

At different times, she has been Head of Department, Chief Examiner and Assessor to some professional examination bodies, External Examiner to accounting departments of some educational institutions in the country and Resource Person to National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) in many accreditation exercises of public and private Polytechnics / Colleges of Technology across the nation.
