Dr. Oluwadurotimi O. Akintade

She is a Lecturer II at the Department of Chemical Sciences, KolaDaisi, University, Ibadan. She is an environmental/industrial chemistry researcher who obtained her Bachelor of Science (Hons.) and Master of Science Degrees in Chemistry at the University of Ilorin in 2004 and 2009 respectively. She completed her PhD in Chemistry at University of Ibadan in 2019.

My research focus is broadly on analysis of river water and reactions in organic chemistry, to detect various pollutants which are inorganic, organic, heavy metals with physicochemical properties.

  • Determination of heavy metals in storm water loads
  • Analysing anions and physical parameters (pH, turbidity, colour) in highway storm water loads
  • Regression model to analyse storm water loads.
