The Former National Secretary of the African Council for Communication Education (ACCE), and Former President of the Association of Communication Scholars and Professional of Nigeria (ACSPN) Professor Lai Oso has commended the  management of KolaDaisi University,  Ibadan, for the facilities put in place at the Mass Communication Department of the University. Professor Oso gave the commendation during a courtesy call to the office of the Ag. Vice Chancellor, Professor Adeniyi Olatunbosun.

Professor Oso who is an erudite scholar at the School of Communication, Lagos State University (LASU), noted that the communication studios in Mass Communication department of KolaDaisi University Ibadan are well equiped, adding  that students and graduates of the department will favourably compete with their colleagues in other higher institutions of learning.

As a communication scholar, Professor Oso further added that the set of teaching and non teaching staff of Mass Communication  Department, KolaDaisi University Ibadan from his observations are thorough breeds and highly motivated to groom Students of the University.

While responding, the KolaDaisi University, Ibadan,  Ag Vice Chancellor, Professor Olatunbosun, said the visit of Professor Oso will further boost the academic credence of KolaDaisi University, just as he added that the University is willing to welcome the contributions of Professor Oso in order to move Mass Communication Department of the university to greater heights.

The Ag Vice Chancellor also thanked Professor Oso for his kind gesture in donating Communications textbooks to KolaDaisi University,  Ibadan, Mass Communication Department Library.

Professor Oso is generally acknowledged as one of the most widely published communication researchers in Nigeria.
As a communication scholar, Professor Oso is a role model being recognised both locally and internationally.
