Dr. Aregbesola, Moses Kehinde

Dr. M. K. Aregbesola is a Senior Lecturer and the Acting Head of the Department of Mathematical and Computing Sciences. He chairs a number of pivotal University Committees and he is an active member of a few others. He is a pioneer member of staff in the University, and the very first member of staff of his department. He is a perfect blend of the academia and the industry. He has had over a decade of work experience both in the academia and in the industry. He commenced his career as an academic at Salem University, Lokoja in the year 2009 as an Assistant Lecturer and rose to the position of a Lecturer II before taking his leave in the year 2014. Infurtherance of his career as an academia, he offered his services as a Lecturer I at Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State where he served between the years 2014 and 2017 before progressing to his current position at KolaDaisi University, Ibadan.

Prior to his career in the academia, Dr. Aregbesola had spent a number of years in the industry, working majorly as an IT Manager and as a software programmer for some major IT companies. Dr. Aregbesola is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and a Project Management Professional (PMP), he still consults for a number of organizations till date.

Dr. Aregbesola is a member of several professional bodies including the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), the Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN), Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), Project Management Institute (PMI), Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and a few others.He has strong research interest in Software Engineering, Information Security and Artificial Intelligence. He has the goal of employing the trio is solving a few prominent societal challenges. He is happily married, and the union is blessed with lovely children.
