The Students of  Mass Communication Department, KolaDaisi University Ibadan have been charged to prepare for wonderful career opportunities in the media industry. The charge was given by the University Ag. Vice Chancellor, Professor Adeniyi Olatunbosun, at the department maiden students’ week luncheon. Professor Olatunbosun noted that the media industry is very lucrative and full of opportunities to excel but practitioners must also be determined to break all odds. The Ag. Vice Chancellor also called on the students to make optimal use of all the facilities in the department in order for them to be well prepared for the future.

In her remarks, the Coordinator of the department, Dr. Yetunde Ayoboolu noted that the department has set a landmark for other   departments to follow, adding that students of the department have always being pace setters.

The Pioneer Head, Mass Communication Department, Dr. Titiloye Ojo , expressed his happiness on the success of the students’ week , adding that the department not only set the pace on social life but also in academics.

Some students of the department who stand out in academics and other activities were  given awards. The luncheon was also used to unveil and crown the Miss and Mr.  Mass Communication Department, KolaDaisi University Ibadan.
