  • The Consulate approved the Fulbright Exchange opportunities for students and staff of the University and the University has been granted the status to be a hosting institution for the US Fulbright Scholars on visit to KDU.
  • KDU signed a memorandum of engagement with EDU Alliance Group USA, a consortium firm providing services on management of higher education, leadership development, strategic planning and networking international partnership opportunities.
  • The Central State University, Ohio, United States is partnering with KDU on exchange of senior academics and professors in the Law, Economics and Business Administration programmes to enhance quality teaching and research in these programmes.
  • The University has instituted a working proposal with Florida University, USA to establish exchange programmes for students and staff.
  • Through its networking and partnership arrangement with Media School of Indiana University, KDU received books on Mass Communication and Media Studies from the University.
  • KDU is collaborating with Gime American University, Cyprus on dual and joint degree awards for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
  • KDU is collaborating with Missouri State University, USA on academic partnership and dual degrees opportunities for students of both universities.
  • KDU signed a MoU Agreement with Universiti Teknologi, MARA, Malaysia under the Faculty of Business Administration for academic research purposes.
  • KDU signed a MoU with University of Ibadan on collaboration and networking opportunies on areas of diverse interests for the purpose of expanding and providing high quality education relevant to globalized work

          IT Related Bodies

  • KDU is collaborating with Global Technology Knowledge corp. (GTK) located in Union City, NJ. GTK is being represented by Tsoriel Solutions Ltd in Nigeria, with the intent of fostering strategic partnerships. GTK provides high value knowledge based ecosystems through international cooperation and partnerships. The engagements between the two parties will focus on Research and Higher Education internationalization, creating international links and international projects between the two institutions.
  • KDU signed agreement with Bredhub, an IcT outfit in the areas of Artificial Intelligence &Robotics.
  • KDU signed MoU with New Horizon for digital skills empowerment and professional trainings leading to ICT certification for undergraduate students.

          Professional Bodies

  • KDU recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. CIMA is a global certification in accounting and the professional body is headquartered in the United Kingdom. KDU-I is the first University in Nigeria to sign an MOU with CIMA. The CIMA professional examination is open to all students offering any of the Social Sciences, Computer Sciences and Law degrees.  All registered candidates of CIMA will be given an opportunity to undertake Industrial Training in Blue Chip Companies and Global Audit Firms with the objective of getting the candidates acquitted with best global practices which culminates to gaining employment in reputable organizations.
  • KDU is having a working relationship with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) under the programme tagged MUTUAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS (MCATI) so that our accounting graduates will only write the final level of ICAN professional examination. Currently our students have been writing Accounting Technicians Scheme for West African (ATSWA) examinations. ATSWA is a sub- regional accounting examination conceived by the Association of Accountancy Bodies in West Africa (ABWA) to fulfill many needs, one of which is to provide opportunity for the Accounting Technicians to progress towards full qualification as professional accountants.

          DONORS

  • The Nigeria Connect Inc. of 105 Cedarmont Way, Dallas, United States of America donated over 2,000 volumes of Books to KDU Library on Mass Communication, Communication and Language Arts, Media Studies, English and Literal Studies, Intellectual Property Law and Media Law.
  • The US consulate office Lagos on Wednesday, 06 October, 2021 donated over 224 volumes of books worth $24,000 on various courses being taught in the university.
