KOLADAISI UNIVERSITY IBADAN SECURES ACCREDITATION FOR NURSING SCIENCE AND FOUR OTHER MEDICAL SCIENCE PROGRAMMES
The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved B.NSc. Nursing Science. BMLS. Medical Laboratory Science, B.Sc. Public Health, Human Anatomy and Human Physiology for KolaDaisi University, Ibadan, Oyo State. The NUC approval was convened via a letter addressed to KoladDaisi University’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Adeniyi Olatunbosun SAN, dated 8th June, 2023 and signed by the Director, Academic Planning Dr. N.B. Saliu. The Vice-Chancellor who described the accreditation as a significant milestone for the University says KolaDaisi University is determined to attain her mission and vision as an institution. He noted that the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences within which the approved courses will be run, is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and staff to nurture graduates with high employability attributes and competence. Admission is ongoing for intending students for full-time programmes in B.NSc. Nursing Science. BMLS. Medical Laboratory Science, B.Sc. Public Health, Human Anatomy and Human Physiology for the 2023/2024 academic session. KolaDaisi University Management is also set for the accreditation of other proposed programmes. They are B.Sc Public Relations, Film and Multimedia Studies, Broadcasting, Library and Information Science, Social Work, Sociology, Criminology and Security Studies.
