The Faculty of Applied Sciences held the 1st distinguished lecture of the faculty on Monday, 22nd January 2024 @ 10 am. The lecture, titled, "Strengthening Scientific Research for Sustainable Development of Nigeria" was delivered by Professor Adekunle Bakare, FAS; a former head of the Department of Zoology and immediate past Dean of Science at the University of Ibadan.

The Center for Bioethics and Research (CBR), Nigeria organized a training on Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) for faculty members and the research unit of KolaDaisi University (KDU), Ibadan.
In its bid to achieve the set objectives of KolaDaisi University, the Council has approved a whistleblowing policy in the University. By the newly approved policy, the University expects an individual to raise any concern informally with a Dean, Registrar or Vice Chancellor as the need arises.
