KDU PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER PRESENTS @ COLLOQUIUM ON NARRATIVES OF TRAUMA AND MEMORY
The Public Relations Officer of KDU, Margaret Innocent was amongst presenters at a Colloquium on Narratives of Trauma and Memory. The Colloquium on the Legacies of the Human Rights Violations Investigations Commission (The Oputa Panel) in Nigeria and National Reconciliation Commission (TRC) in Ghana qas held on August 2nd, 2023 at the Conference Centre, University of Ibadan.It was Organized by the Centre for Human Rights and Restorative Justice (CHRRJ), McMaster University, Canada, The Confronting Atrocity Project, McMaster University, Canada and the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. The Colloquium had lead presenters and presenters touch on areas of human rights violation, gender inequality and journalistic reporting. Margaret Innocent of KolaDaisi University presented a paper titled “An Analysis of the Role of Journalists in War Reporting Using the Syrian Crisis”.
