6 KDU STUDENTS GLEAM AS MILLENIUM FELLOWS

After concluding a keenly scrutinized social impact project and fellowship programme, 6 students of KolaDaisi University, Ibadan have emerged fellows of the United Nations Millenium Fellowship. The United Nations Millenium Fellowship graduands who were mentored by Dr Sekinat Kola-Aderoju, Ag. Director, Academic Planning Unit and Dr Archibong-Okonneh, of the Department of History and Diplomatic Studies, KolaDaisi University are Anuoluwapo Soyege, Moyinoluwa Oni-falohun, Adefolajuwon Akerele, Toyosi Ojofeyitimi, Emmanuel Olufayo and Oluchi Obinta. The Registrar, KolaDaisi University, Mr. Haruna Olawale Adetu congratulated the fellows and charged them to strive for more laurels, noting that the sky is not their limit, but their starting point for success. 44,000 young leaders applied to join the class of 2023 from 3,000 universities and campuses across the globe in 170 nations. kolaDaisi University is one of the 260 campuses selected worldwide. About 9% of the total applications from 38 countries. The Fellowship which is in partnership with the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) serves as a platform for opportunity for students to make their impact in the world by creating and adding value to their communities. This is one of the many achievements of students and staff of the University in recent times. A staff of Department of Mathematical and Computing Sciences, Dr. J. O Akanni was recently admitted into Afox visiting fellowship at the Department of Mathematics, University of Oxford, United Kingdom. During his fellowship at the Department of Mathematics, University of Oxford, United Kingdom, he will be carrying out research focusing on the public health education, fumigation and mass ivermectin administration on transmission dynamics of onchocerciasis.

KDU 2nd International Scientific Conference

The Center for Bioethics and Research (CBR), Nigeria organized a training on Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) for faculty members and the research unit of KolaDaisi University (KDU), Ibadan.

COUNCIL APPROVES WHISTLE BLOWING POLICY

In its bid to achieve the set objectives of KolaDaisi University, the Council has approved a whistleblowing policy in the University. By the newly approved policy, the University expects an individual to raise any concern informally with a Dean, Registrar or Vice Chancellor as the need arises.
