KDU LECTURER GETS GRANT TO ATTEND SMUS CONFERENCE

A lecturer at KolaDaisi University, Temitope Y. Bello PhD has been given travel grant to attend the 4th International and Interdisciplinary Conference on Spatial Methods for Urban Sustainability. The Conference which will hold in Thailand is jointly organized by the “Global Centre of Spatial Methods for Urban Sustainability “together with the Research Committee on “Logic and Methodology in Sociology “of the International Sociology Association and the Research Network Quantitative Methods of the European Sociology Association. Temitope Y. Bello is expected to present a paper titled, “Viewing from an Indigenous Theoretical Lens: Upholding Stiwanism in the Study of Street and Domestic Insecurity of Girl-Hawkers in South-West Nigeria “and “Problem of Gambling and the Question of Women Empowerment in the Inner Cities of South-West Nigeria”. It will be recalled that a lecturer at KolaDaisi University, Dr. Mojisola Karigidi, was recently awarded a patent by the Patents and Design Registry of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for her groundbreaking invention of a bio-pesticide.
