Remarkably, the KDU University community is keeping with the global universities traditions and best international practices of holding annual academic event as and when due.  This modest record of sustainable convention is made possible by the approval of the Chancellor, Chief Kola Daisi, CON, the Basorun of Ibadan land. Today marks the 7th year anniversary of the establishment of KolaDaisi University, Ibadan and the 6th year anniversary of the commencement of academic activities of the University.  This day also serves as the 3rd convocation ceremonies of the 3rd graduating set of the University, the 2023 graduating set

This event chronicles three activities, convocation of graduands, awards and prizes and convocation lecture.  For the convocation, 123 students are graduating and are being celebrated.  All these graduands are awarded their respective category of degrees; of First Class Honours, Second Class Honours, Upper Division, Second Class Honours, Lower Division and Third Class Honours.  Some of these graduands will be receiving prizes as designated and provided by prescribed Donors. The third segment of this event, is the convocation lecture, which is being delivered by Emeritus Professor Julius A. Okogie, OON, the former Executive Secretary, National Universities Commission.  The title of the lecture: “The Nigerian Education System at a Crossroad(s)”.
