6th Matriculation Ceremony

The Vice Chancellor of the prestigious KolaDaisi University, Ibadan, Prof. Adeniyi Olatunbosun has been elevated to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria by the Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee {LPPC}. Prof. Olatunbosun is among the 62 lawyers who were conferred with the rank of SAN on Monday 28th November, 2022. 
The SAN rank is awarded by Nigeria's Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee as a mark of excellence to members of the legal profession who have distinguished themselves as advocates and academics.  
The erudite scholar started his legal career as a student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife in 1985 and was called to bar at the Nigerian Law School in 1989. Prof. Olatunbosun completed his post-graduate education (LL.M.) at the University of Lagos in 1991. He later obtained a Ph.D. at Obafemi Awolowo University in 2006. He tirelessly rose through the rank and file of the legal profession as an educator and legal practitioner and has added another feather to his cap with this recent appointment as a SAN.  
Prof. Olatunbosun assumed office as the substantive Vice Chancellor of this burgeoning citadel of learning KolaDaisi University on Monday 1st August 2021. Prior to his appointment at KolaDaisi University, he was the Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Ibadan with three renewable tenures of six years consecutively spanning from 2014 to 2020.  
KolaDaisi University (KDU) was licensed as a private university by the Federal Government on 10th November 2016 and commenced academic activities in January 2017, with a vision to be a world-class institution for excellence in the production of graduates able to respond to the socio-economic needs of a knowledge-driven economy.
